POLA ATMAŃSKA
Pola Atmańska
An award-winning pianist and composer, Pola has won awards at the International B-Jazz Competition in Belgium (2016) and the 39th Getxo International Jazz Festival in Spain (2015), among others, as well as receiving the Special Award of the Polish Jazz Association (2019). Her album recorded with the O.N.E. Quintet was nominated for a Fryderyk 2021 award for Phonographic Debut of the Year in the Jazz category. She has performed on stage with artists such as Misia Furtak, Ralph Kamiński and Maria Sadowska, and as part of the O.N.E. Quintet. She is the co-founder of her own piano trio and the band Szamanie. As a composer, she is keen to try her hand at interdisciplinary activities, which has involved co-writing the music for theatre performances and fashion shows.
